Extract Maker Unveils Major Upgrade and New Landing Page

To prepare for broader social outreach in the coming months, Extract Maker has received a major upgrade, featuring a refreshed UI, improved mathematical model accuracy, an updated and corrected database, and various tweaks and bug fixes for a smoother experience.

We’ve also launched a new landing page at https://extractmaker.carrd.co/ to showcase Extract Maker’s capabilities.

Moving forward, we plan to deepen the integration between Extract Maker and Plants Research Pro, as both apps serve distinct yet complementary roles. Plants Research Pro is the premier app for tracking biomaterials research, enabling users to explore new findings, take notes, create recipes, and design dietary plans. In contrast, Extract Maker excels at providing hands-on guidance for crafting biomaterial extracts—the essential source ingredients. While Plants Research Pro includes an early version of Extract Maker, it lacks many features found in the standalone app.

Our next step is to expand Extract Maker’s biomaterial overviews, growing the current 100-word summaries into more detailed descriptions. However, we’ll avoid in-depth discussions or links to individual research articles, as Plants Research Pro already handles that expertly.

We’re thrilled with the progress of both apps and their proven ability to tackle key challenges in advanced dietetics. We’re eager to share their impact with a wider audience soon!

  1. Great update! The improvements to the UI, database accuracy, and calculation model sound like they'll make Extract Maker even more useful for researchers and herbal enthusiasts. I also like the idea of integrating it more closely with Plants Research Pro, since the two tools seem to complement each other well. Expanding the biomaterial overviews is a smart move, as it will make the app even more informative without duplicating research content. Looking forward to seeing future additions, especially for widely used botanical ingredients like Aloe Vera Extract. Wishing your team continued success with both apps!
